Position Description:
Building Consultants are responsible for conducting a variety of property
inspections including home inspections, termite inspections, radon testing
and specialty inspections (pool, roof, well and others). This job entails
traveling to a variety of inspection sites within a region, and interfacing
with clients such as Realtors and home buyers and sellers. U.S. Inspect
provides its employee consultants with cutting-edge computer technology that
allows them to deliver the most accurate reports on the site of the
inspection. U.S. Inspect also offers the most comprehensive training and
professional development programs in the industry. Our state-of-the-art
training facility equips each consultant with the tools and skills needed to
succeed.
Requirements:
Consultants must possess excellent customer
service and interpersonal skills, as well as strong verbal and written
communication skills. Consultants must also be detail-oriented and possess a
working knowledge of Windows-based computer programs, the ability to retain
technical information quickly, and a base knowledge of residential
construction. 2-4 years of experience in customer service, construction, or
engineering is ideal for a candidate interested in joining the U.S. Inspect
team.
