Today, May 12, 2016, Tim Shelton, US Inspect Maryland Area Manager, and two of his team members, Jon Handy and Adam Morville donated their entire day to the Keller Williams Realty event RED Day.
RED Day is a two-part, all-day event, where part one involves work improvements in three inner city elementary schools like painting, cleaning and general beautification of the schools. While this is taking place, part two is an elaborate collaborative effort where all the children of the schools are taken to a large local park and treated to a day to remember! The day for them is packed full of fun, food, games, music and dance. The event entertained approximately 500 smiling-faced local children in the park for most of the day. Tim was a star at the event dressed as "superman."
Introduced in 2009, RED Day, which stands for Renew, Energize and Donate, is Keller Williams Realty's annual day of service. Each year on the second Thursday of May, associates celebrate Mo Anderson's birthday by spending the day away from their businesses serving worthy organizations and causes in their communities.
US Inspect was extremely honored to be a part of this event and plans to make it an annual affair!
