U.S. Inspect Announces New Chief Operating Officer

Chantilly, Va.—Nov 2005—U.S. Inspect, the nation’s leading inspection firm, announced today the appointment of Matt Murphy as new Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Residential and Relocation Services.

The appointment of Murphy to COO is part of a move by CEO Bill Bowman to streamline and restructure the entire company. Murphy’s appointment is just one of several changes that will enable the company to better service the needs of their clients nationwide.

“Matt has been a dedicated and talented leader at U.S. Inspect for more than 10 years,” said Bowman. “His leadership skills and commitment have been an asset to this company in each of the positions he has held, and I foresee more of the same from him as COO.”

Prior to being named Chief Operating Officer, Murphy served as Vice President of Corporate Services, successfully ensuring client satisfaction, business growth, and new business development with U.S. Inspect’s corporate relocation clients. Murphy’s past experience includes leading the Residential Division for U.S. Inspect as Director of Residential Services.

“Having led both our Residential and Corporate Services Divisions, Matt truly has a unique perspective that he brings to the table,” Bowman said. “We couldn’t ask for a better qualified COO to oversee both of our operations.”

Murphy is already determined to make many positive organizational and operational changes as COO. For the better part of a year he has been developing a company-wide reorganization plan that he hopes to unveil in just a couple weeks, he said.

“I’ve been observing operations at this company for many years while in previous positions—and in each position I’ve learned something new and valuable,” Murphy said. “We at U.S. Inspect are fanatically committed to service and our new restructuring will enable us to continually improve our service and dedication to our customers.”
