U.S. Inspect Welcomes Guardian, Enters Indianapolis Market

CHANTILLY, VA - U.S. Inspect, Inc. today announced its expansion into Indianapolis, Indiana with the signing of Guardian Inspection Services.  President of Lebanon-based Guardian Inspection Services, Tim Tucker has been performing inspections along with his team in Central Indiana since 1994.  Tucker will serve as Territory Manager for U.S. Inspect’s newest market.

“I’m excited and enthusiastic about the future with U.S. Inspect,” Tucker says.  “I was at a point where I was looking for opportunities to move on to the next level; for a rung in the ladder.  U.S. Inspect is that rung.  It’s great to be part of such a talented team.”

Rich Carlson, President and CEO of U.S. Inspect, shares his enthusiasm.  “Tim’s joining marks U.S. Inspect's successful entry into the Indianapolis market.  We are confident that as part of US Inspect, Tim's leadership, demonstrated integrity, and commitment to performing quality inspections will be widely embraced by the Indianapolis market. We are very excited to have Tim and his team as part of the US Inspect family.”

As a founding member and past president of the Indiana chapter of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI), Tucker is well known as a leader in the fight to bring about legislation regulating the home inspection industry in Indiana.  “There's nothing that prevents a guy from printing his name on a business card and calling himself a home inspector,” he says.  “Unfortunately, a handful of miscreants can give this profession a bad name.”

Guardian Inspection Services will undergo a transition period over the next few months, during which time the company will be known as U.S. Inspect/Guardian Inspection Services before fully integrating under the U.S. Inspect name. This latest expansion represents one of a string of successful acquisitions by U.S. Inspect, whose aim is to establish an employee presence in every major market nationwide.
