Inspector Employment

Inspectors are the heart of the U.S. Inspect team, representing the company in all parts of the country. For this reason, we invest in the training and development of consultants, and offer more than just a commission for inspections performed. Incentives enable our top consultants to earn compensation based on the effort they put into their work. Whether you’re a novice or an experienced inspector, you’ll enjoy working with U.S. Inspect. If you would like to contribute to our astounding success, contact us!

Novice inspectors new to the field undergo an intensive, four-week training program at U.S. Inspect’s training center, located at our Headquarters Office in Chantilly, Virginia. Upon completion of the training program, consultants accompany their field manager on an on-the-job training program.

Novice consultants can select between two types of compensation packages--a base salary plus semi-annual bonuses based on productivity and performance, and a competitive commission plan to help consultants increase their earning potential.

Experienced inspectors can essentially jump right in after attending a U.S. Inspect orientation and procedural training. Experienced consultants are paid a highly competitive commission on inspections performed, and have the ability to earn additional awards based on team productivity.

All full-time consultants can look forward to the following:

  • State-of-the-art technology—laptop computers, digital cameras, portable printers, and two-way radios
  • Health plan, including medical, dental and vision coverage, and prescription drug discounts

  • 401(k) retirement/profit-sharing plan
  • Flexible spending account
  • Legal and dispute services
  • Accounting services
  • Centralized, professional call center with extended scheduling hours
